-De La Salle (California) has finished in the Top 25 in the nation nine out of the past ten years including five first place finishes, according to USA Today.  De La Salle amassed a 151 game winning streak from 1992-2004 which currently stands as the longest winning streak in high school football history.

-Independence (North Carolina) has finished in the Top 10 in the nation six of the past seven years, according to USA Today.  Independence also won 109 consecutive games from 2000-2007, the second longest streak in the history of high school football.

-Jenks (Oklahoma) finished in the Top 25 in the nation six out of the last ten years including second and third place finishes in 2000 and 2001, according to USA Today.

-Carroll (Southlake, Texas) finished in the Top 25 in the nation five out of the past six seasons, according to USA Today.

-South Panola (Mississippi) finished in the Top 10 in the nation each of the past five seasons.  South Panola heads into the 2008 season with the nations longest active winning streak at 75 games.

-Miami Northwestern (Florida) is the defending National Champion according to USA Today and brings a 30 game winning streak into the 2008 season.

-Lakeland (Florida) has finished in the Top 25 in the nation three of the past four seasons including a National Championship in 2005, according to USA Today.

-Evangel Christian Academy (Louisiana) has finished in the Top 25 in the nation four of the past ten seasons including second and third place finishes, according to USA Today. 

-Katy (Texas) has finished in the Top 25 in the nation three of the past 8 seasons, according to USA Today.  Katy has a 55-4 record over the past four seasons.

-Colerain (Ohio) has finished in the Top 25 in the nation three of the past four seasons, according to USA Today.  Colerain has a 50-4 record over the past four seasons.

-Central Catholic (Pennsylvania) finished 6th in the nation in 2004 and 11th in the nation in 2007, according to USA Today.  Central Catholic has a record of 53-4 over the past four seasons.

-Lowndes (Georgia) finished 11th in the nation in 2004 and 2005, according to USA Today.  Lowndes has won three of the past four large classification state championships in Georgia.
